CASTING for 2013 Season

Oregon Cabaret Theatre is a professional non-Equity theatre in Ashland, Oregon, just one block from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Our theatre is unique and elegant, housed in a beautifully renovated church with table-seating on tiered levels and balcony. 2013 is our 28th season and we have built a reputation for producing top-quality shows with superb talent and high production values.

Salary is $1600-1700/month. Out-of-town actors receive $500/month housing stipend and $200 travel allowance (or round-trip plane ticket).

DOGPARK the Musical

Adventures and relationships of 4 dogs at the Dogpark.

Casting: Daisy, the sassy, lovelorn Westie; Champ, the show-dog Collie; Itchy, the high-strung Jack Russell terrier; Bogie, the brooding, mysterious Lab/mutt loner. All must be strong triple threats with great comic/character skills.

The Little Sisters of Hoboken are putting on a show in Las Vegas!

Mother; gospel-singing Sr. Mary Hubert; Sr. Mary Leo the dancer nun; Sr. Amnesia who is also the voice of Sr. Mary Annette, the puppet nun; Sr. Robert Anne the streetwise, belting nun from Brooklyn. All strong female singer-actors with great comic skills; age range 40-55.

‘S Wonderful: The New Gershwin Musical

Gershwin’s ageless songs set into 5 mini-musicals: NYC in the 20s; Paris in the 30s; Hollywood in the 40s; New Orleans in the 50s; and present day.
